Deeply influenced by coldwave and punk sounds from the early 80's, this release also benefits from the contribution of external musicians such as Lambwool, Electric Press Kit, Normotone (Neon Cage Experiment)and Riotmiloo with an acoustic approach. The Talented remixers Tannhauser and Bak XIII complete the casting. Both artwork and layout were created by the painter Wladd_Mutagéne making this work a "must have" in the already impressive HIV+ discography.

Fith label reference and debut for the two bands that share CD. The selected songs by Tannhauser stand out by their forceful and mechanical electronic lines, between the old school EBM and the most rythmic industrial, which gives certain degree of 'experimentness' in every track.

On the other hand, the Barcelona-based Event gift us with a set of tracks that wisely melt the energy of drum&bass rythms with EBM strongness, spouring everything with a range of atmospheric pads that surround in darkness every track.

In both projects outstands the careful usage of film-sampling in the non-vocals tracks, achieving the creation of simple sound fx and fat atmospheres full of tension.

Summarizing, Fuel Split CD is one of the more interesting and innovative proposals into the spanish electronica, in the first place by its originality and secondly by its quality, achieving to break the stereotype of sounds and styles predictable in Spain and contributing with new blood to the spanish alternative panorama.
